Plant details: Wind pollinated (seeds will be blown away where they will later germinate on their own), Large stalk, about 5 feet tall

To harvest edible portion: Harvest young leaves

To harvest seeds: Allow to mature on the plant, when the seeds are black they are ready to harvest. When the flowers begin to die back cut the flower heads from the plant then allow to dry. Shake the flower heads over a bowl/ buckets to release seeds.
