Join us as we discuss how to begin your seed saving journey. Will discuss how to get started, how to preserve your seeds longer, why you should seed save, and more! And PCPL Seed Library will be joining us to discuss the One Seed project, as well as how to utilize the seed library as a patron and a donor.

Join us every 3rd Saturday (with ocassional exception) to clean your seeds and/ or sign up for a seed locker. We’ll provide all the equipment needed. You can come learn with our tools and/ or books, ask questions, etc. Don’t have any seeds to clean? You can come help with ours, someone else’s, or to just hang out. You can even take a tour around the garden. We’ll even have seeds you can purchase for your future garden.
The seed lockers are located at the further most southeast corner of the garden. There will be signs to guide you to the right place.

Foods of the African Diaspora
This program is offered in collaboration with Mission Garden. With support from the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona Pro Neighborhoods Endowment Fund.
Join us as we explore a variety of African and African American foods and plants. We’ll discuss how to grow them, how to use them, and more! And there will be a giveaway.
*As this program is specific to plants and foods of the African Diaspora, priority will go towards Black and African participants. We ask that if you want to participate and are not of this community that you consider two things:
1. Wait until closer to the event date to register as space is limited
2. That you offer a donation to go towards the seeds and information that will be shared.
This program is focusing on reclamation of ancestral foods and their uses, especially for Black Americans whose history was stolen and hidden from them.
