Join us in processing our summer seeds. The seeds have been harvested, so we just need to get them ready for saving for next season, selling, and sharing with the community. Easy work, sitting down, but it will be outdoors.

Join us in weeding at the farm. We’re going to clear up the spring/ summer plot at the farm so that the volunteers can come, and the soil can rest. It’s outdoor work, tools will be provided.

Hibiscus Party (Harvest)
The hibiscus has decided that it’s finally done. That means it’s time to harvest the pods for seeds (and the last of the hibiscus). This will be quick work. We’ll be cutting the whole branches and that’s it. If we get a lot of volunteers we can remove the calyces from the pods (and the volunteers can even keep some!)

No need to bring anything. Just come and do some hands on learning on how to process seeds for saving. We’ll have everything, so just bring yourself.
Seed Saving Day!
The summer harvest is coming to an end. Which means there’s seeds to save for next year. Join us as we harvest the seeds and prep them for the next steps.
The weather is much cooler and there’s lots of pokey weeds, so we encourage long pants, long sleeves, and closed toe shoes.
