Plant details: Perennial (returns every year so plant somewhere you can leave it), Large bush, about 4 feet tall and 6 feet wide

To harvest edible portion: Cut stem about an inch below flower bud (artichoke), before it starts to open.

To harvest seeds: Allow the seeds to dry on plant. The flower will be purple, then become fuzzy, resembling a dandelion. When the bud is all fluffy cut the bud from stem. Gently pull fluffy bits to release seeds.

Viable seed color: Grayish green
